Section 203 of the Department of Education Organization Act (20 U.S.C. 3413) is amended by adding at the end the following:

Text this section adds to the law

(d) The Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights shall monitor and provide an annual report to Congress on the implementation by the States of the State educator equity plans described in section 1111(g)(1)(B) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 6311(g)(1)(B)).
