The amendment in the nature of a substitute referred to in the first section of this resolution is as follows:

Text this section adds to the law

1. Designation of Haiti for temporary protected status. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall designate Haiti for temporary protected status until the date that is 3 months after January 20, 2029.
