Recognizing the State of Michigan's contributions to the United States on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the Union.

That the House of Representatives—

(1) recognizes the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence;

(2) encourages all United States citizens to reflect on the ideals of the Founders and their fight for independence; and

(3) celebrates the enduring impact that Michiganders have made on the success of the United States.
