Sec. 306. Dual office-holding prohibited

Section 702(a) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 902(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following:

Text this section adds to the law

(9) Except as otherwise required by law, the Commissioner may not hold any other office or position in the Government of the United States.
