End Judge Shopping Act
This bill requires a civil action that seeks a widely enforceable order to be brought in a division of a judicial district with two or more active judges.
Text of the bill
(a) In general. Chapter 87 of title 28, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:
1414. Civil actions seeking nationwide injunctions. A civil action which seeks an order enforceable in each district and division of the United States shall be brought only in a division of a judicial district which has two or more active judges assigned.
(b) Clerical amendment. The table of sections for such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following:
