Sec. 1. Short title; definitions

(a) Short title. This Act may be cited as the Stroke Education and EMS Care Improvement Act of 2026.

(b) Definitions. In this Act:

(1) Secretary. The term Secretary means, unless otherwise specifically provided, the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

(2) State. The term State means one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
