Sec. 307. Ratio of public debt to GDP included in President’s budget submission

Section 1105(a) of title 31, United States Code, is amended—

(1) in paragraph (10), by striking the period at the end and inserting , including the ratio of the public debt to the estimated gross domestic product.; and

(2) by adding at the end the following:

Text this section adds to the law

(39) the ratio of the surplus or deficit to the estimated gross domestic product.
