Sec. 3. Authorization of appropriations

Section 172 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (29 U.S.C. 3227) is amended—

(1) by redesignating subsections (e) and (f) as subsections (f) and (g), respectively; and

(2) by inserting after subsection (d) the following:

Text this section adds to the law

(e) Substance use crisis grants. There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out section 170(e)—

(1) $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2027;

(2) $27,500,000 for fiscal year 2028;

(3) $30,000,000 for fiscal year 2029;

(4) $32,500,000 for fiscal year 2030;

(5) $35,000,000 for fiscal year 2031; and

(6) $37,500,000 for fiscal year 2032.
