Quality Educator Partnership Act

The purposes of this title are—

(1) to test, replicate, and scale research-based educator preparation intervention and implementation strategies;

(2) to design education workforce systems that integrate recruitment, preparation, support, retention, and advancement opportunities for educators;

(3) to increase the supply of new, profession-ready educators, who represent and understand the communities and children the educators are serving;

(4) to ensure educator preparation programs are prepared to deploy innovative pathways, as appropriate, to address the needs of prospective educators of any age or experience level;

(5) to incentivize individuals to enroll in and complete high-quality educator preparation programs in high-need fields, particularly individuals who belong to groups that are, as of the date of enactment of this Act, underrepresented in the education profession; and

(6) to incentivize States, high-need local educational agencies, and educator preparation programs to implement education workforce strategies that align with workforce and economic development plans and that attract and retain profession-ready educators in public schools.
